Haryana :- On the occasion of 24th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh paid tribute to the bravery and valor of the Indian Soldiers. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar remembered the sacrifice, martyrdom and dedication of the brave soldiers of the army by lighting the lamp and offering flowers at the VidyaVeertaSthal in Academic Block 3 of the University. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor said that the Kargil war is a reflection of the bravery and valor of the Indian Army. The success of this war is a source of inspiration for the youth. The Vice Chancellor remembered the sacrifice of the soldiers who lost their lives in this battle and described it as the supreme sacrifice. He said that the result of this war proved once again that the Indian Army is fully capable of defending the border and giving a befitting reply to the enemy.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar in his address expressed his condolences to the families of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the victory of Kargil. Prof. Sunil Kumar, Registrar also remembered the sacrifice of the brave soldiers on this occasion and said that we will always be indebted to them. On this occasion Prof. Sunita Srivastava, Prof. Sanjiv Kumar, Controller of Examinations Prof. Rajiv Kaushik, Prof. Harish Kumar, Librarian Dr. Santosh CH, Prof. Sarika Sharma, Prof. Ranveer Singh, Prof. Surendra Singh, Prof. PayalChandel, Prof. Antresh Kumar, Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Dr. SunitaTanwar, Dr. Rajender Prasad Meenawere present along with the Head of various departments, teachers, officers and non-teaching staff.
