Three Day Training program on Disaster management inaugurated at CUH

In the inaugural session of this program organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University, the Senior Consultant (RID), National Institute of Disaster Management, Dr. Garima Aggarwal mentioned the importance of the subject and pointed out this direction for the engineers.

Haryana :- A three-day Disaster Management Training Program on 'Various aspects of Disaster Management Planning and Role of Engineers in Building Resilient Infrastructure, began on Tuesday at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh in collaboration with the National Institute of Disaster Management. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the University inaugurated the program. In his address, he said that the role of engineers becomes even more important in this matter because the contribution of engineers is most important in ensuring quality, strong construction.

In the inaugural session of this program organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University, the Senior Consultant (RID), National Institute of Disaster Management, Dr. Garima Aggarwal mentioned the importance of the subject and pointed out this direction for the engineers. She described the necessary training as important and said that through this event it will definitely help young engineers to understand this important topic related to disaster management. The convenorsof this three-day training program organized in the University are Dr. MuralidharNayakBhukya and Dr. Garima Agarwal, while the responsibility of coordinator in the event is discharged by Prof. Ajay Kumar Bansal and Shri ShreyashDwivedi. In the inaugural session of the event, Dean of School of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Phool Singh along with Prof. AkashSaxena, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Dubey, Dr. Sumit Saini, Dr. Kalpana Chauhan, Dr. MunishManas, Dr. Manish Kumar, Engineer Poonam Sharma, Engineer Nitin Kumar and students were present.
