The Valedictory Ceremony of a 10 Day Vedic Math Workshop for Teachers

The workshop has been a significant step towards promoting mathematical excellence in the education sector.


New Delhi. : ASN Senior Secondary School, Mayur Vihar-1 in collaboration with Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, Delhi conducted the  valedictory ceremony of the 10-Day Vedic Math Workshop for Teachers, marking the successful conclusion of an enriching and empowering educational event. The workshop has been a significant step towards promoting mathematical excellence in the education sector.
 
The 10 day long workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from educators and math enthusiasts alike from over 20 schools from Delhi  & NCR . Over the course of ten days, attendees delved deep into the world of Vedic Mathematics, a time-tested system of mathematical techniques rooted in ancient Indian traditions. These techniques, known for their simplicity and efficiency, have the potential to revolutionize the way mathematics is taught and learned.
 
The valedictory ceremony was  graced by distinguished guests, including Shri Anil Kumar Thakur; Vedic Ganit Expert, State Coordinator, Delhi Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas Delhi, Shri Deepak Vasistha ,Lecturer Mathematic,Vedic Mathematics Coordinator, Haryana State, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan. 
 
School Principal, Ms. Swarnima Luthra gave a hearty welcome to the Guests-of-Honour and teachers from various schools. She said that the event was a testament to the dedication of teachers to improve their craft and provide students with a strong foundation in mathematics. She expressed her gratitude to all the participants and  mentors  who made this event possible.
 
The workshop showcased the knowledge and skills acquired by the participants during the workshop, as well as a heartwarming display of their passion for teaching and learning. At the end of the workshop, the participants were  awarded certificates for their remarkable performance during the workshop. Participants left the ceremony with a renewed sense of purpose and Vedic Math techniques to share with their students. As they return to their classrooms, they carry with them the knowledge and inspiration to make mathematics an enjoyable and accessible subject for all.
 
Shri Anil KumarThakur, in his address, said, "We are thrilled to witness the enthusiasm and commitment of our educators in embracing Vedic Mathematics. This workshop has equipped them with innovative teaching methods that will undoubtedly benefit their students. We look forward to more such initiatives in the future."
