Haryana: The last date of application under Dr. Ambedkar Center of Excellence (DACE) established in Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh to prepare the Scheduled Caste students for the competitive examinations of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has been extended from June 15 to June 30, 2022. The University will provide free coaching for UPSC Prelims and Main Examination to 100 scheduled caste youths under this center.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor said that this is the only center established in the state of Haryana and its objective is to provide opportunities to the scheduled caste youth having administrative abilities to contribute in the development of the country.

Dr. Antresh Kumar, Program Coordinator of DACE informed that the process of application for admission under this center is going on from June 1. The last date to apply for this was June 15, which has now been extended to June 30. Applicants interested in free coaching can apply through the application form available on the website of the University till June 30.

Dr. Antresh Kumar informed that the selection of scheduled students from all over the country for DACE will be done on the basis of entrance examination. There will be 100 seats in which 33 percent will be reserved for women candidates. The entrance test to be conducted for admission will consist of 100 objective type questions, which will be based on the test of general knowledge, language skills, reasoning ability and general aptitude. Selected candidates can avail free coaching facility. The list of successful candidates will be made on the basis of merit. In this center, apart from the faculty of the University, outside professionals will also provide coaching.
