Protection of birds and environment is the moral responsibility of man. Human being is
considered the best in nature only because human being has compassion for himself as well as
for other living beings. These human sensibilities and values give them a different identity.
That's why it is our duty to make arrangements for grains and water for the dumb birds so that
they can stay safe in this summer season. These views were expressed by the Vice Chancellor of
Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar while installing
birds feeder and water pot under the 'Save Birds-Save Nature' campaign organized by the
University-based Innovation and Innovation Center.
Prof. Sunita Srivastava, Director, Centre for Innovation and Incubation said that the Birds Feeder
Club has been set up by Centre in the University, in which the students and teachers working in
the University voluntarily cooperate and arrange food and water for the birds. She told that in
order to give impetus to the G-20 campaign being run under the leadership of Honorable Prime
Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi and to generate positive attitude towards birds and
environment among the people of the region, such programs are organized continuously under
the direction of the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar. On this occasion
Prof. Nand Kishore, Prof. Pawan Kumar Maurya, Prof. Dinesh Chahal, Dr. Raman Deep, Dr.
Dilip Patel, Sunil Agarwal, Sandeep, along with heads of various departments of the University,
teachers, students and research scholars were present.
