Haryana :- Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar has completed two years as Vice Chancellor in Central University of Haryana (CUH)Mahendragarh. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar took charge as the Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Haryana on July 29, 2021. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar thanked all the stakeholders including teachers, officers, non-teaching staff, students, research scholars of the University for their cooperation and support during these two years. On completion of two years as the Vice-Chancellor of the University, the Registrar Prof. Sunil Kumar along with Finance Officer Dr. Vikas Kumar and Controller of Examinations Prof. Rajiv Kaushik congratulated the Vice Chancellor. On this occasion, the first woman of the University, Prof. Sunita Srivastava and Prof. Suneel Kumar of the Department of Physics and Astrophysics were also present.
Prof. Sunil Kumar, Registrar of the University said that the University has taken the path of progress under the leadership and guidance of Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar is remarkable. He said that starting new courses, permanent appointment to teaching and non-teaching posts is going on continuously. The University is on the path of progress under the able leadership of Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar and is engaged in achieving the goals of all round development of the students as mentioned in the National Education Policy. For this, according to the new National Education Policy, B.Sc-MSc Integrated 4-year UG, 4-year B.A.B.Ed program, Academic Bank of Credits and multiple entry and exit options in UG, PG and integrated programs have been introduced as a part of curriculum in the University. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar expressed gratitude to all the participants for their cooperation while remembering the achievements of two years' tenure on this occasion. He said that the journey of development of the University is continuing and the University is establishing its identity on the global stage.
