Bengaluru : The Centre for Investment in Capital Markets (CICM) is offering PES University students (undergraduate and postgraduate) a certification course on transfer pricing. Anyone who is not a PES University student is also allowed to attend. The course is aimed at those looking for a new career and/or exploring a new area in the field of taxation. The reason this course is being offered is due to increasing demand for jobs in the Big Four i.e., the four largest international accounting and professional service firms that audit 80% of public companies in America.

The course trainer is Rajesh Rajagopalan, an assistant professor in the Department of Management Studies at PES University who is an industry professional with 28 years of work experience. Applicants will learn about the genesis of transfer pricing, the arms length principle, the methods of transfer pricing, action points about OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) and BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) and end-to-end transfer pricing compliances. Applicants will also receive industry situation-oriented training sessions. The course will begin on December 31 (Saturday) and limited seats are available.

To register for the course, applicants must fill out a Google form requesting their name, email address, phone number, highest degree and a payment screenshot of Rs. 3000 to the PES University bank account. PES University students must also state their Service Request Number (SRN) or their Permanent Registration Number (PRN).
