Gandhinagar, 27 April 2023: National Forensic Sciences University released a notification regarding the invitation of entrance exam application for admissions. An Institution of National Importance under Ministry of Home Affairs, NFSU is accepting applications for National Forensic Admission Test (NFAT) – 2023. Students are advised by the University to apply for entrance test before 29 May 2023. On the basis of (NFAT) only admissions will be conducted in the University premises for the fresh academic year.

The University has already commenced the online admission for the new academic year. Students are offered with a variety of courses in UG, PG, M.Phil, Ph.D & D.Sc/D.Litt/LLD programs. Moreover, the total intakes  in each programs will be divided in four campuses of NFSU which are situated at Gandhinagar, Delhi, Tripura, and Dharwad. According to the performance in entrance exam only  the seats will be allotted to students in different campuses.

Reservations

Reservations will also be given to all recognized categories, sub categories and special categories. The proportion allotted to each categories are divided into:

SC: 15%, ST: 7.5%, OBC: 27%, EWS: 10%, PwD: 5%

In special category:-

Domicile category: 10% Domicile Quota may be reserved in each campus subject to approval by competent Authority.

Special provisions for Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandit /Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants)

• i. Relaxation in cut-off percentage upto 10% subject to minimum eligibility requirement.
• ii. Increase in intake capacity upto 5% course wise.
• iii. Reservation of at least one seat in merit quota in technical/professional institution.
• iv. Waiving off domicile requirements for Kashmiri Migrants only. Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in the Kashmiri Valley need domicile certificate.

Children and Windows of Eligible Armed Forces Personnel (CW Category): Two supernumerary seats shall be available for preferential allotment in each course for CW candidates.
