National seminar organized at CUH

The first lady of the University, Prof. Sunita Srivastava and head of HJM North region, Mr. Murli Manohar had the dignified presence in the event.

Haryana :- A one-day national seminar on the composition of famous poet Vanavil K. Ravi related to nation, nature and women power was organized in Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh on Saturday. Tamil poet Vanavil K. Ravi was present as the chief guest in this program organized under the joint aegis of Tamil Cultural Research Center (TCRC) and Dayanand College, Ajmer. The program was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar and co-chaired by the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sushma Yadav. Prof. SudheerPratap Singh, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi was present as the keynote speaker in this event. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that this event is a remarkable effort of mutual understanding between North and South. He said that India's cultural heritage is thousands of years old. Stories like Ramayana, Geeta and devotee Prahlad etc. are present in it. These stories have always had an impact on our lives and today efforts are being made to establish the authenticity of this knowledge. As far as language is concerned, the National Education Policy has paved the way for attaining modern knowledge in one's own language by talking about education in the mother tongue. Prof. Sushma Yadav described this event as a joint platform of Tamil, Hindi and English languages. He said that the discussion on the work of a Tamil poet in a central university located in the Hindi speaking state of Haryana is a unique opportunity. Prof. Yadav said as far as nation, nature and women power are concerned, India was strong as a nation when the world did not even understand the nation state. Worship of nature and importance of women power has always been at the core of India. Certainly, this event will pave the way for Hindi and Tamil to move forward together in this direction.

On this Occasion Prof. Bir Pal Singh Yadav, HoD, Department of Hindi presented the welcome address and expressed gratitude towards all the guests. Prof. N Lakshmi Aiyar, Central University of Rajasthan presented the outline of the event and informed about the functioning of Tamil Cultural Research Center (TCRC). In the event, University Vice Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Sushma Yadav, Prof. Sunita Srivastava, Mr. Murali Manohar were honored on behalf of TCRC in the presence of center's coordinator P. S. Raja. Prof. SudheerPratap Singh, discussed in detail the composition Prahlad by poet Vanavil K Ravi and threw light on its various aspects. He said that this is a unique creation of the poet which contains the story of Prahlad as well as the poems of the poet. In this sequence, poet Vanavil said that it is a matter of joy for me that today we have gathered here to discuss poems and compositions. He said that he has always been nurturing the idea of nature, nation and women power. At the end of the inaugural session, Dr. KamleshKumari, Associate Professor of Hindi Department, expressed vote of thanks. The stage was moderated by Dr. Amit Kumar. On this occasion, a large number of students, researchers and teachers including Dr. Kishan Ram Bishnoi, Dr. Amit Kushawaha, Dr. Pukazhyendi, Dr. Amarendra Srivastava, Dr. T. Sangeetha, Prof. PayalChandel, Dr. Kamaraj Sindhu, Dr. Siddharth S. Rai, Dr. Arvind Tejawat, Dr. Snehsata and Dr. Suman Rani were present.
