Mahendergarh : Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Central Library, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh celebrated National Librarian’s Day on 130th birth anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan: the father of the Indian library movement by inaugurating special sections of library collection. Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellorinaugurated Foreign Language Section comprising books in French, German, Dutch, and Spanish languages at Central Library. The collection of engineering text-books in regional language section, recommended byAll India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), was also inaugurated at SoET library by the Vice-Chancellor.During this program organized by the Central Library of the University, the photocopying, printing, binding services started by the Vice Chancellor through outsourced services for the students were also inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar.
The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the efforts of library team for making all possible efforts to build special collection in international and regional languages. Prof.Sunita Srivastava,Prof.Sarika Sharma, Prof.Vikas Garg, Prof. Rajiv Kaushik, COE, University Librarian, Dr. Santosh C. H., Deputy Librarian Dr. Rajeev Vashistha, Assistant Librarians Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh and Mr. Naresh Kumar, Information Scientist Dr. Vinita Malik, and many teaching and non-teaching staff were present on the occasion.
