One day workshop on National Education Policy and Enhancement of the Higher Education Institutions at CUH

Haryana :- A one-day workshop funded by ICSSR on National Education Policy and Enhancement of the Higher Education Institutions was organized at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh. The workshop was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Governor of Nagaland, Shri LaGanesan as the Chief Guest. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Maharishi DayanandSaraswati University, Ajmer Prof. Anil Shukla, Guest of Honour, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sushma Yadav were also present on this occasion. 

Hon'ble Governor Mr. La Ganesan said that in National Education Policy the path to success has been paved mainly through education and skill development in the mother tongue. This policy is going to eliminate the gap between education and employability. Mr. Ganesan said that this policy is going to develop the possibilities of creativity and employment by developing the necessary eco-system for progress and development through innovation, research. In his address, he emphasized the contribution of this policy in the development of entrepreneurship and making the youth proficient in problem solving skills. Shri Ganesan stressed on educating every child of India to build a developed India. In his address, he also highlighted the importance of ancient Indian knowledge system and drew attention towards the preservation and promotion of Indian knowledge system on in the new education policy and said that now is the time to move towards building the future of India and this goal is not difficult to achieve through new education policy.

Prof. Anil Shukla describing the National Education Policy as the Bhagwat Geeta of the 21st century. He said that teachers should move towards such an education system which is connected to our culture and also provides opportunities for development. The National Education Policy fulfills all these objectives. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, while expressing gratitude to theHon'ble Governor Shri La Ganesan, said that the new education policy is a remarkable effort to improve education. The University is working as a leading educational institution towards the implementation of the new education policy.The Vice Chancellor said that the aim of the new education policy is to make the youth not job seekers but job providers. He said that in this education policy, emphasis has been laid on education in mother tongue, which is an important change. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that after the new education policy, an eco-system has been created which is paving the way for building a Viksit Bharat. 

Prof. Sushma Yadav said that the new education policy moves us towards building the future by connecting us with our old knowledge and values. The Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Haryana is leading the universities of the northern region for the successful implementation of this policy. Prof. Sushma Yadav said that this education policy is helpful in the development of entire humanity and is capable of making Indians capable for the welfare of the entire nation and humanity. At the beginning of the program,  organizerof the workshop Dr. Arvind Singh Tejawat presented the welcome speech and at the end of the inaugural session, Prof. Birpal Singh proposed vote of thanks. On this occasion, on behalf of ICSSR, project director Dr. Priyanka Kaushik, Dr. SauravPratap Singh Rathod, dean of various schools of the University, head of the departments, teachers, students, researchers, participants and members of the organizing committee were present.
