Haryana: Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Central Library, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh conducted a library awareness camp at Govt. Senior Secondary School, Jant Mahendergarh on Tuesday under National Library Week. Around 150 school students participated in the event. Various events like Nukkad Natak and musical play were conducted by the University students to spread awareness about the library and books. They also portrayed how books can save you from negativity by their performances. 

The University Librarian Dr. Santosh Hulagabali, motivated the students to maximum utilize the library resources for being successful and creative in life. The coordinator of the event, Information Scientist, Dr. Vinita Malik, also stressed upon the usage of books to stay positive in life.  The Deputy Librarian, Dr. Rajeev Vashistha shared his own life experiences with the school kids. Mr. Naresh, Assistant librarian also shared his viewpoint regarding the importance of books. The scholars from Psychology department Ms. Divya and Ms. Manju delivered lectures on how books help in mental health improvement. The poster making competition was also organized for the school students and prizes were also awarded for motivation
