Central University of Kerala to Host ICMS 2026 International Conference on Molecular Signaling

The Central University of Kerala is set to organize the International Conference on Molecular Signaling (ICMS 2026) under the aegis of its School of Biological Sciences. The three-day international conference will bring together researchers, scientists, academicians, and industry experts from across the globe.

Kerela - The School of Biological Sciences at the Central University of Kerala (CUK), Periye, Kasaragod, will organize the International Conference on Molecular Signaling (ICMS 2026) from February 28 to March 2, 2026. The conference aims to provide a global interdisciplinary platform for discussion on recent advances in molecular signaling, covering both fundamental and applied research.

The conference is being held under the chief patronage of Prof. Siddu P. Algur, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Kerala, with Prof. A. S. Raghavendra, President, ICMS and University of Hyderabad, as Co-Patron. Prof. Sudha Kappalli, Dean, School of Biological Sciences, CUK, will serve as the Convener, while Dr. Indrashis Bhattacharya, Head, Department of Zoology, CUK, is the Organizing Secretary.

ICMS 2026 will feature keynote lectures, plenary and invited talks, oral and poster presentations, offering opportunities for academic exchange and collaboration. The major themes of the conference include plant cell interactions and signalling, microbes, host–parasite interactions, intracellular signalling, immune response and inflammation, marine biotechnology, toxicology and stress, reproduction and endocrine signalling, disease biology, animal physiology and circadian rhythms, biosensors, cancer biology, vascular signalling, extracellular vesicle signalling, biological macromolecules, and animal and plant development.

Registration is mandatory for all participants. The registration process includes an early-bird, late, and spot registration option, with different fee structures for faculty members, postdoctoral fellows, research scholars, industry delegates, and foreign participants. Accommodation will be charged separately.

The conference will be held at the Central University of Kerala campus in Kasaragod, a region known for its cultural diversity and tourist attractions such as Bekal Fort, Ranipuram Peak, backwaters, temples, and beaches. February–March weather in Kerala remains warm, ranging between 31–32°C.

Interested participants can register online through the official Google Form and contact the organizing committee via icms.2026@cukerala.ac.in for further queries. The conference is expected to significantly contribute to advancing research collaborations and scientific dialogue in the field of molecular signaling.
