Karnataka: Holiday declared to schools and colleges on September 2 this day

:- One day holiday has been granted to government, aided, and private educational institutions including anganwadi, primary and high schools, degree colleges, ITI, diploma colleges and government aided and private institutions

Karnataka: In the instance of Ganesh Chaturthi, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) DR. Rajendra KV announced holiday for schools and colleges on September 2 that come under Mangalore police Commissionerate limits. Due to the immersion of the Ganesh idols in many places that come under Mangalore police Commissionerate limits and as per the information received by the police department it is expected to have traffic tie-ups and huge public gatherings in the city which is going to be an inconvenience to the students. This measure was taken keeping the safety of students as the primary concern

One day holiday has been granted to government, aided, and private educational institutions including anganwadi, primary and high schools, degree colleges, ITI, diploma colleges and government aided and private institutions.

According to the uncertain schedule it is expected that Mr. Modi will arrive at Mangalore International Airport at 1 p.m. and later use a helicopter to reach New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) premises at Panambur. The Prime Minister will later arrive at the programme venue (Goldfinch city grounds) by road by 1:15 p.m.  and the official programme will go on till 3 p.m.
