New Delhi :- Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) proudly announces its stellar performance at the Association of Indian Universities' 37th Inter-University National Youth Festival. Team Jamia Millia Islamia, comprising Ram Sonwane from B.A. Programme, Favas K from the Department of Economics, Mohammad Faheem TP from MA Conflict Analysis and Peace Building, and clinched the Second prize, representing the North-West Zone.

The prestigious competition took place at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana from March 27 to April 01. The Quiz unfolded over two intense days, commencing with a written preliminary round on March 29, featuring 24 university teams from different zones. The Grand Finale, held on March 31st, showcased four riveting rounds, where our team's exemplary performance secured them the Second position. The team was accompanied by the team Manager Mr. Pushkar Kumar Dhanolia.

The remarkable achievement of Team JMI highlights the university's commitment to excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities. The Team met DSW, Prof Seemi Farhat Basir who congratulated the winners and had a brief discussion with the team regarding their experience at the Quiz Event.

After a brief meeting with the DSW, the Team met Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof Iqbal Hussain who congratulated the team for the achievement and encouraged Quizzers to participate in more such events. The Quiz Club Coordinator Prof Mohd Kamalun Nabi and Prof Dilip Kumar Shankya, Convener were also present with the team.
