JMI faculty receives “National Education Excellence Award 2021 in Materials Chemistry”

 

New Delhi. : Dr. Ufana Riaz, Assistant Professor at Department of Chemistry, Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) has been awarded with “National Education Excellence Award 2021 in Materials Chemistry” by the International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation (IMRF) in recognition of her notable contribution to the field of Materials Chemistry.  The award was presented at the World Sciences Day & National Education Day celebration held virtually at the Institute of Higher Education & Research Campus, Vijayawada,India  on November, 11th 2021.

 

Dr. Riaz has published more than 130 research papers in the field of conducting polymers. Her research work has been renowned and published in highly reputed journals of American Chemical Society, Elsevier, Wiley and Springer. Besides this, she has co-authored 3 books and 25 book chapters. In 2016, she was nominated as a member of the prestigious National Academy of Science (NASI) Allahabad and currently also holds membership of International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) and Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).

 

IMRF holds a high rank among world’s academic and research organizations and has been holding academic chapters in Mexico, Sweden, Iran, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, China, Japan and several other prestigious academic destinations in the world. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has extended its support to IMRF as part of the strive towards networking among nations. The foundation provides research support to academicians, researchers and facilitates collaborations with foreign, central, state, deemed, private abodes of higher learning across national and international boundaries.
