New Delhi :-  :- Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially announced the commencement of online applications for admission to the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing - B.SCN(PB) program. This program, scheduled to commence in January 2024, is open to in-service Nurses with the requisite qualifications.

Eligibility Criteria:
In-service Nurses, including Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM), are eligible to apply if they meet the following criteria:

10+2 with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of two years of experience (after registration as RNRM) in the profession. (Male nurses without midwifery in the GNM program should have a certificate in any Nursing course of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery).
OR

10th class (Matriculation) or its equivalent with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of five years of experience (after registration as RNRM) in the profession. (Male nurses without midwifery in the GNM program should have a certificate in any Nursing course of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery).

Entrance Test Date: 07th January 2024
Last Date of Online Registration: 31st December 2023
Prospective candidates are reminded that only online applications will be accepted, and no hard copy forms will be considered. All registrations must be completed through the University website.
