Bengaluru : The Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is currently accepting applications for the position of Industry Interface Program Manager. It is a full time, contractual position based in CeNSE at IISc in Bangalore. The contract will last for six months and may be renewed depending on the performance of the candidate, who must report to the CEO of INCeNSE, a technology business incubator at CeNSE. The position also involves being an interface between CeNSE and companies to complete I2CeNSE goals. The deadline for submitting an application is December 25 (Sunday).

Responsibilities include representing CeNSE at events for lead generation and networking, organizing meetings, visits and events to promote I2CeNSE goals, create good working relationships with admin, technical and operator teams within CeNSE and IISc and key company representatives and interfacing with students towards internships and placements by working closely with OCCaP (Office of Career Counselling and Placement) and company HR representatives. Applicants must also be the single point of contact for the CeNSE Industry Affiliate Program (IAP) and take full ownership for end-to-end delivery. The applicant must have five or more years of work experience in a customer or business interfacing positions, bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electronics/chemical/material engineering or a related engineering degree or a Master’s degree in physics. Advanced degrees in engineering disciplines or an MBA degree (Master of Business Administration) is also desirable.

The skills required for this position are strong stakeholder and interpersonal management skills, time management skills and being able to prioritize work, achieving results in a demanding environment, experience working with diverse stakeholders at senior levels, organizations skills and multitasking, adapting objectives in accordance with deadlines and demands, good verbal and communication skills, being able to work as part of a team or independently, analyzing, summarising and communicating information effectively, good attention to detail and problem solving skills and collaborating and building credibility across organizational boundaries.
