Karnataka :- A total of 1.49 lakh students have registered for the second PU exam scheduled to be held from April 29, according to officials. Of these, 32,848 students have registered in order to improve their scores, while 27,092 are repeaters, 89,221 are those who have not cleared the main examination and 139 are private candidates.

Out of the total registered students, 52,492 are from the Arts stream, 39,427 from Commerce and 57,381 from Science. Regionally, the highest registrations have been done from Bangalore South district with over 14,000 candidates, followed by Bangalore North from where 11,000 registrations have been made.
