IGNOU liberalises admission criteria for MBA Banking and Finance Programme

Interested candidates can seek the admission through the Samarth portal

 

New Delhi :-The admission criteria for Master of Business Administration (Banking & Finance) (MBF)offered by IGNOU has been revised by removing the requirements of CAIIB Certification and 2 years experience in Banking /Financial sector.

The revised eligibility is:

“Passed a Bachelor's degree of minimum three-year duration with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to reserved categories)”.

The MBA Banking and Finance programme, offered by IGNOU's School of Management Studies, is a two-year degree program delivered through open and distance learning mode. It was developed and launched through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IGNOU and the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) to provide a post-graduate academic qualification in Banking and Finance area.

By liberalising the eligibility, IGNOU aims to meet the aspirations of prospective candidates who wish to acquire a post graduate degree in Banking and finance areas.
