New Delhi: Directorate of International Affairs Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and  JNU Jean Monnet Module Centre for European studies, SIS Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi in collaboration are organizing Young Researcher's International Conference. Theme of the conference is "Changing Contours of Institutions and practices comparing India and Europe" on August 11 and 12, 2022.

The genesis of the conference originates from the idea of an innovative vision and a spectrum of global events occurring throughout the world with special emphasis on Europe and India. India and Europe are conveyors of primary beliefs of unique pertinence to the present world, thoughts that require a mix of the antiquated and the contemporary, of the old and the new, of the past and the future. Since young researchers and scholars shall play a significant role in building and structuring the new philosophies and ideas, it is imperative to understand and evaluate these new strategies from a fresh perspective. 

The conference shall delve into a new understanding of various issues ranging from politics, society, culture, environment, and management while merging it with the basic principles inherited. 

The conference theme will revolve around- Migration and Social Integration, Conflict, Peace, and Security Issues, Demographic Transformation, Social and economic Institutions and Practices, Culture, Religion, and Society and Democracy and Political change. 

There will two best paper awards for the conference for each theme. The prizes are sponsored by Jean Monnet Module, Centre for European Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Last date of submission of the abstract has been extended till July 7. All the interested Faculty Members, Students and Research Scholars are requested to participate in the International Conference and submit their Abstracts & Research Papers.
