Five day workshop concluded at CUH

These tools are not only used in the field of Statistics but also in Economics, Education, Mathematics, Medical Science, etc.

Haryana :- Department of Statistics, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized a workshop on ‘StatisticalData Analysis using SPSS & R’ for faculty, research scholar, postgraduate and graduate students that ends on 15th March 2024. Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of the University is the chief guest of the valedictory session.  Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar speaks about the workshop and he tells that due to the dynamic change in the economic, social and other factors, one should need to gain the knowledge of various statistical tools to understand these changes and how to estimate the future possibilities. These tools are not only used in the field of Statistics but also in Economics, Education, Mathematics, Medical Science, etc.  

Welcome address is given by Dr. RavinderSingh, Convener of the workshop. He says that the participants are from all over the country. Thisworkshop will help the audience in gaining knowledge of various statistical tools and their applications in different disciplines.The report of the workshop is given by Dr. Pavitra Kumari, Organizing Secretory, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics.Prof. Ranjan Kumar Sahoo, Head, Department of Statistics gives the vote of thanks in the valedictory session. In this workshop, the resource persons are Prof. Shashi Bhushan form Department of Statistics, University of Lucknow, Lucknow;Dr. Nitin Gupta from Department of Statistics, IIT-KGP; Dr. Kapil Kumar from Department of Statistics, CCS University, Meerut; Dr. Amit Kumar Mishra from Department of Statistics, BBAU, Lucknow; Dr. Dushyant Tyagi from Department of Statistics, DSMNR University, Lucknow; Prof. Suresh Kumar Sharma from Department of Statistics, Panjab University, Chandigarh; and Prof. G. Jayasree from Department of Statistics, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
