Expert Lecture organised at CUH

This lecture aimed to bridge the knowledge gap and empower students of department of commerce to make informed decisions in this rapidly evolving space.

Haryana :-  The Department of commerce, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized a highly informative online extension lecture in an effort to shed light on the often complex and enigmatic world of cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology.The extension lecture was titled "Demystifying Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Technology".Prof. Shurveer S. Bhanawat head of Department of Accountancy, MohanlalSukhadia University, Udaipur was the keynote speaker at the programme. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor, CUH conveyed through a message that events like this, on contemporary topics are advantageous for the students.

Prof. RajanAneja, Dean of School of Business and Management Studies welcomed the keynote speaker and applauded the department of commerce for organizing an informative event. He talked about the power of cryptocurrency in upcoming times. Keynote speaker unfolded the reasons of rise in cryptocurrency market as like, Global Reserve currency transformation trends from ancient times till today’s dollar monopoly in the market; the globalization of businesses have made the payment industry exploit the circumstances at their use to charge higher interest rates on payments, equivalent to 3% of global GDP; threat posed to the personal and financial data of users of payment facilities of companies like MasterCard and Visa. He also explained about Cryptocurrency Basics, Blockchain, Mining of cryptocurrencies, what are the contemporary uses of cryptocurrencies.Dr. Rajendra Prasad Meena, HoD, Department of Commerce was the convener of the extension lecture, he promised to continue to organize educational programs of this nature for the benefit of students. Prof. SushilaKumariSoriya was the director  and faculties of the department of commerce Dr. SumanDahiya and Dr. Bhushan Singh were the co-convenors. The research scholars of department of commerce  Prerna, Annu,Sangeetha, Mohit have their immense contribution in organizing the programme.The  M.Com student coordinators for the event were Payodhi, Rahil, Manu Rajan, Gaurav, Balwan. The Vote of Thanks was presented by Prof. SushilaKumariSoriya talking about the vitality of understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology as they are becoming increasingly integrated into our daily lives.
