New Delhi: Directorate of Students' welfare of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University issued a notice on Tuesday, July 19 regarding the empanelment of coaches for sports activities for the year 2022-23. 

The Directorate of Students' welfare invites the applications in the prescribed format for training and coordinating everyday sports activities, annual sports meet, inter collegiate tournaments and participation of University teams in AIU tournaments for the year 2022-23. The sports activities in which services of sports coaches are required are - Cricket, TRACK and Field, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Football, Kabaddi, Tug of War, Yoga, Table Tennis, Swimming, Karate and Rugby. 

One post is available for each sport and the essential qualification of each applicant should be a diploma or degree of B.Sc. in Physical Education/BPE/BP.Ed/MPED/NIS or equivalent from any recognized University. An applicant has to ensure the authenticity of information provided in support of experience, achievements and other documents. There should be no criminal record or any pending enquiry against the candidate. The last date for the submission of application in the office is August 16, 2022 before 4 p.m.
