He emphasized that today’s youth are increasingly choosing entrepreneurship as a purpose-driven career, and EDII is committed to creating a structured pathway for entrepreneurs who can contribute meaningfully to the nation’s growth and help realise the vision of a developed India by 2047.
PGDM Entrepreneurship: Focused on Venture Creation
EDII’s two-year PGDM in Entrepreneurship, introduced in 1998, is among India’s most focused programmes dedicated solely to entrepreneurship development. The programme is approved by AICTE, accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and holds MBA-equivalent status from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
With over 2,200 alumni, around 79% of whom are active entrepreneurs, EDII follows a milestone-based teaching approach. Students are supported through structured mentoring, real-industry exposure, incubation support via EDII’s Centre for Advancing and Launching Enterprises (CALEL), and milestone-linked seed grants, enabling them to start ventures during the course itself.
Students can now specialise in New Enterprise Creation, Family Business Management, Social Entrepreneurship, and Tech Startups, making the PGDM a comprehensive platform for diverse entrepreneurial journeys.
