Haryana :- Asima Chatterjee Girls Hostel, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh witnessed a remarkable event on the occasion of 106th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Asima Chatterjee, embracing upon her extraordinary contribution in the field of sciences. On this occasion, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar had spared his precious time and has been a pioneer in supporting his students. He also mentioned the role of women scientists who are doing excellent. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Shushma Yadav, had guided upon everyone with her enlightening words that created a significant remark. She appreciated the efforts of students for performing very well. Dr. Sunita Srivastava, First Lady of the University, who gave this wonderful name to Asima Chatterjee Girls Hostel was also present at this occasion. The mesmerizing event was judged by Prof. Sushma Yadav, Pro Vice Chancellor CUH, Prof. Neelam Sangwan, Dean Research and Dr. Vinita Malik, Information Scientist.

The event was accelerated with a soulful Ganesh Vandana performance by Khushi and Krati, followed by the welcome address of Dr. Mona Sharma, Warden of the hostel and with the blessings of Vice Chancellor the program was started with the events like Painting, Professional Ramp walk, Dance, Best Room in the hostel. Further followed by the prize distribution ceremony where Room number 5 at the best room position followed by room number 103 and next held by room number 140. The ramp walk event was spectacularly won by Lubhanshi Raje Shisodia followed by Anita and Neha Lohan. The frolicsome win was bagged by Neha Yadav and Lubhanshi in Duet dance performance. Not stepping aside Kajal won her captivating position in Solo dance. Dr. Asima Chatterjee art theme was exuberantly won by Teena Devi followed by Alka Kumari further the third position was bagged by Sheetal and this led us towards the finishing of the event.

The event was graced upon by the presence of Dr. Ravi Kumar, Dr. Savita, Dr. Manish Kumar, Dr. Swati, Dr. Suman Rani, Dr. Vikas Siwach and Dr. Ankush Vij. This event was hosted by Dr. Mona Sharma, Warden Asima Chatterjee, with her dedicated event coordinators Neha, Deepali, Sarvesh, Chahat and Sakshi, without whom this event wasn’t possible. The entire stage was thoroughly conquered by Shefali Mohan with her remarkable anchoring skills throughout. Dr. Mona Sharma one of the most interactive and dedicated wardens as well the HOD Environmental Studies took up the entire initiative to make this event a great success.
