Haryana :- Department of journalism and Mass Communication, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized a one-day workshop on 'Digital Media Skills and Practices'. Prof. Sushma Yadav, Pro Vice-Chancellor said that digital media a sea of unparalleled opportunity for the media students. It is a platform which connects countries, communities, friends, relatives, governments, and individuals. She said that digital media is a tool to empower and bring a positive change in the society. She stressed upon the careful and mindful use of the digital media to serve the people.

Dr. Ashok Kumar, the Head of the department, welcomed all the guests and stressed on the importance of digital media for journalism students. On this occasion expert speakers Tathagat Rai Chaudhary, Production Editor and senior journalist; Rohit Chaudhary, Digital Editor and senior journalist; Senior Journalist Thirumoy Banerjee and Rajesh Dhakar, SEO and digital marketing expert highlighted the role of editors, professionals in digital journalism. They emphasized the significance of captivating writing styles tailored for digital platforms, stressing the imperative of holding readers' attention amidst the abundance of digital content. On this occasion, all faculty members and students were present.
