Raipur: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, is pleased to announce the launch of its Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship, specially crafted for aspiring entrepreneurs. Commencing from November 6th 2024, the program is designed to nurture and empower aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them with the essential skills and practical knowledge needed to launch and manage successful businesses.
Budding entrepreneurs possessing a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum age of 21 years can apply by 15th October 2024 (https://cpe.iimraipur.edu.in/).
This three-month, non-residential course is specifically designed to empower Raipur residents and foster entrepreneurship within the local community. By providing targeted training and support, the program aims to cultivate a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem that contributes to the region's economic growth.
Inviting budding entrepreneurs to upskill themselves with this program, Dr. Ram Kumar Kakani, Director, IIM Raipur shared, “We believe entrepreneurs are the propellers of India’s economic growth. With an aim to enrich Raipur’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, our expertise has meticulously designed this curriculum to meet the requirements of our local community. We are confident that this initiative will bridge the gap between start-up ecosystems and the delivery of skills required for their success. IIM Raipur will offer required mentorship and networking opportunities to entrepreneurs, ensuring their long-term success.”
Post-culmination, participants will have developed a practical understanding of essential business disciplines. They will gain hands-on knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance standards. Additionally, the program will include sessions on presentation skills, design thinking, and training techniques, among others.
Immersive learning experiences will be the cornerstone of this program. Through hands-on activities, practical exercises, and real-world case studies, participants will gain a deep understanding of business principles. Participants will experience a stress-free learning environment with minimal theoretical content. The focus will be on real-life business scenarios, providing an in-depth look into the nuts and bolts of entrepreneurship. Opportunities to interact with like-minded individuals, building a network of fellow entrepreneurs and mentors will provide valuable insights and inspiration. To ensure accessibility for all, sessions will be conducted in a blend of English and Hindi. Field trips, interactive demonstrations, and visual presentations will enhance the learning process.
