Mahendergarh : Research and Development Cell, Central University of Haryana (CUH),Mahendergarh organized an event “Celebration of Chandrayaan-3 Utsav” on 20th September 2023. During this event, various activities were performed by the students such as skits/Sketches/ Short films/ on the theme “India on Moon”. Convener of the programme Prof. NeelamSangwan welcomed the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar and the Guest of honor of the event Prof. Sunita Srivastava, HOD, Physics Department. Vice Chancellor cited that the mission is not just for the success of ISRO but also for the whole of India including schools and institutions from where scientists come. Not only India, while World is proud of success of Chandrayaan 3.

The program started with holy lamp lighting. During the speech competition,  contestants spoke on how ISRO developed the the idea and executed the mission. The sketch competition coverd the journey of ISRO for their 1st ever rocket launch to Chandrayaan 3 success. Contestants also described some highlights of mass missions controlled by ISRO. Videos in the series cover how the success of Chandrayaan 3 is important for the country and its growth. Judges appreciated the thoughts shared by the participants. Prizes and certificates were distributed to the students. The whole session was very interactive and large number of students participated enthusiastically.  Vote of thanks was given by Minakshi. Mohni and Neha Saini coordinated speech and sketch activities. Akshay, Sandeep and Jiten managed the stage and the stage was hosted by Nisha Yadav Research Scholar. At the end of the program national anthem was recited. Program events were judged by Prof veer singh, prof Surender Singh, prof Kanti Sharma, Prof PawanMaurya, Dr Mona Sharma. Large number of students and faculty members DrAntareshkumar, drUnmesh Kumar, DrNeelam Yadav were present in the function.
