CCRT Engages Digital Creators to Promote Vande Mataram Among India’s Youth

The Ministry of Culture, coordinated by CCRT, organized an interaction with social media influencers at The Ashok to promote the legacy of Vande Mataram among youth

 New Delhi. ; “Vande Mataram is not just a song, but a powerful expression of India’s identity, emotion, and cultural spirit that must continue to inspire the younger generation,” said Union Minister of Culture Sh. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat while addressing social media influencers at a special programme held at The Ashok.

In an effort to strengthen the connect of Vande Mataram with the youth and broaden its appeal across the country, an engaging interaction with digital creators was organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and coordinated by CCRT. The programme focused on the legacy of Vande Mataram and the growing role of new media in promoting India’s cultural narratives among young audiences.

The event began with a captivating dance presentation based on Vande Mataram, choreographed by eminent Odissi dancer Kavita Dwivedi, setting a patriotic and graceful tone for the evening.

This was followed by an insightful interaction with the Secretaries of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism, who highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting India’s cultural heritage through modern communication platforms.

The highlight of the programme was the inspiring address and interactive session by Union Minister of Culture Sh. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who emphasized the transformative role of social media and digital storytelling in taking India’s civilizational values, traditions, and cultural legacy to younger generations in a meaningful and relatable way.

He also engaged directly with the influencers, encouraging them to use their platforms to celebrate and amplify the timeless message of Vande Mataram. The discussion reflected a shared commitment to making India’s cultural conversations more vibrant, relevant, and accessible in the digital era.

The programme concluded with a lively question-and-answer session and the felicitation of participating creators, marking a memorable celebration of patriotism, culture, and the enduring spirit of Vande Mataram.
