Broughton Estate, UK invites JMI School Teacher for solo exhibition of his paintings

He was a special invitee of Mr Roger Tempest, owner of the Estate, and was called upon to curate the special exhibition of his paintings in keeping with the unique character of the Estate.

It is a matter of great pride for Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) that Mr. Moinuddin Ghazali, a drawing teacher at Jamia Middle School was called upon to curate a special exhibition of his paintings at Broughton Estate, Yorkshire, United Kingdom. He was a special invitee of Mr Roger Tempest, owner of the Estate, and was called upon to curate the special exhibition of his paintings in keeping with the unique character of the Estate. His solo exhibition was part of the "Legacy Family Office Summit Investing in Impact – Celebrating Earth Day” during April 26-29, 2023.

Mr Ghazali travelled to the Estate with an especially curated collection of his paintings for the solo exhibition. The exhibit was a resounding success with his work being appreciated by all guests who came from different parts of the world.

Mr Ghazali is a renowned impressionist artist who has developed a unique style of painting where he uses his fingers directly from the colour tube to create masterpieces. Another uniqueness of his work is that when viewed from different angles and under different lights the painting gives varied effects. These things make his paintings special which are getting famous all over the world.

He is the only Indian artist to be invited to the World Art Youth Forum, Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, one of the biggest Art Festivals in the world where artists from 125 countries were invited by the Government of Egypt. One of his paintings has been displayed in the Hall of Fame of the Grand Museum Tehran, Iran.

Earlier, his three solo shows had been organised at Visual Arts Gallery, IHC, New Delhi, one in M.F Hussain Gallery, JMI and one in AIFACS, New Delhi. He has also participated in a number of group shows and art camps across the country.

Two of the big size paintings created by him are on display in the lobby of the Delhi Police Headquarters, New Delhi. He is regularly featured in national and international media.
