Uvarsad,Gujarat - Karnavati University hosted an Out of Syllabus session on Friday with Abhay Pannu, a writer and director, and Nikkhil Advani, a director, producer and showrunner, as the guests. The session was moderated by the Dean of the UnitedWorld School of Liberal Arts and Mass Communication, Dr. Sonam Mansukhani.The session was a part of the university's attempt to offer students a glimpse into the world of entertainment and media.

The session began with the Dean introducing the guests to the audience and discussing their illustrious careers in the industry. Abhay Pannu, a graduate of the National School of Drama, has directed several acclaimed plays and has also written for films and web series. Nikkhil Advani, on the other hand, is a renowned director, producer and showrunner who has worked on films such as Kal Ho Na Ho and Airlift and web series such as Sacred Games and Made in Heaven.

The two guests spoke about their experiences in the industry and offered insights into the world of entertainment. Abhay Pannu talked about his journey from theatre to films and shared his experiences of working with actors and crew members. He also talked about the importance of storytelling and the role of a director in bringing a story to life. Nikkhil Advani, on the other hand, spoke about his experiences as a producer and showrunner and discussed the challenges of managing a team and a project.
