Haryana :- The book titled Climate Change and Socio-Ecological Transformation: Vulnerability and Sustainability, authored by KousikDasMalakar, Research Scholar, CUH; Dr. Manish Kumar from Department of Geography, Central University of Haryana; Prof. SubhashAnand, University of Delhi; and Dr. Gloria Kuzur from IGNOU, New Delhi has been published by Springer Nature, Singapore. Today, the book was released by Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh. During the release, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar praised the authors and emphasized the significance of the book in fostering scientific knowledge and understanding of climate change and socio-ecological sustainability among planners, researchers, scientific professionals, and students at different levels of policy planning and management.

Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar, CUH, extended congratulations to all the authors. In his remarks, he accentuated the critical aspects of the book, particularly its relevance in the era of the climate crisis.Dr. Manish Kumar presented the first copy of the book to the Vice-Chancellor and highlighted the coverage of the book. He also highlighted the book's significance, stressing the understanding and opportunities within the realm of the impact of the climate crisis on our socio-ecological system.
