Haryana :-  The book titled "Green Chemistry Approaches to Environmental Sustainability: Status, Challenges, and Future Perspectives," published by Elsevier and edited by Dr.Anoop Yadav and Dr.Sushma from the Central University of Haryana (CUH),Mahendergarh;Dr. Chandra Mohan and Dr.NeerajKumari from K. R. Mangalam University, Gurugram; and Prof. Vinod Kumar Garg from the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, was officially launched.The inaugural copy of the book was released by Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Haryana. During the book release, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar highlighted the pressing issue of depleting natural resources and raw materials at an alarming rate. He emphasized this comprehensive work delves into the critical realms of green chemistry and its crucial role in addressing contemporary environmental challenges.

The book is particularly relevant for students, researchers and academic professionals engaged in the field of green chemistry. Dr.Anoop Yadav emphasized that "Green Chemistry Approaches to Environmental Sustainability" offers a comprehensive overview of the emerging discipline of green chemistry, incorporating fundamental chemical principles.The topics covered in this book are major accomplishments for sustainable development such as biofuels, renewable energies, and remediation of pollutants present in water, air and soil.On this occasion, Prof.NeelamSangwan, Dean of Research and SIAS, along with Dr. Mona Sharma (HOD), Dr Anita Singh, Dr.Vikram Singh, Dr.Smita, and Dr.Sushma from the Department of Environmental Studies were also present. The first copy of the book was presented to Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar by the editors, Dr.Anoop Yadav and Dr.Sushma, marking an important milestone in the field of environmental sustainability and green chemistry.
