Bengaluru : Azim Premji University is looking to hire faculty to teach subjects in its undergraduate biology division. Faculty members will be teaching undergraduate level lectures and laboratory courses, mentor students, develop the curriculum, and teach elective courses in their area of expertise. The position will be based in the Azim Premji campus in Bangalore.

In order to be eligible, applicants must have a strong quantitative background in systems biology, bioinformatics, biophysics, quantitative biology, and/or physiology, have an advanced degree in biology or a related field, any experience in teaching or post-doctoral work, experience in any of the five areas mentioned previously, strong educational interest and experience in laboratory work, and experience in designing and creating lab experiments and modules. Applicants who can teach laboratory-based courses will have an advantage over other applicants.
