77thIndependence Day Celebration at St. Vivekananda Senior Secondary School
New Delhi. : On 14th of August, 77th Independence day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of St. Vivekananda Senior Secondary School, Ladpur, Delhi -81.
Mr. VirendraPunj, ACP vigilance department Delhi Police, graced the occasion as a chief guest. He hoisted the tri-color flag and the national anthem was played.
The program was started by the girl cadets of NCC escorting our chief guest to the stage. The students presented wonderful dance performance and group songs which made the audience spellbound.
Our chief guest appreciated the performance of the students and motivated them by his valuable words and sang a patriotic song which made the atmosphere completely patriotic. He awarded Nikhil Dabas class 6th with gold medals in Kickboxing State Championship and Taekwondo District Championship, Saurabh and Himanshu of class 12th with gold medals in National Kabaddi championship under 19. The school organised a workshop for classes 10th to 12th in which the chief guest made the students aware of the steps to lessen crime from the society.
At the end of the program the principal of the school, MrYuvrajPunj thanked the chief guest by presenting mementos with his valuable words.
