Haryana: For the session 2022-23, in various 11 undergraduate programmes available in Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, there is a tremendous competition this time among the students from all over the country. As per the direction of the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission, Central University of Haryana is taking admissions for undergraduate courses under the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022. After the application process that ended on May 31; 2,12,722 2 candidates have applied for a total of 493 seats available for 11 undergraduate and integrated courses at CUH. Thus, on an average, 431 applicants are willing to take admission in each seat. As far as the maximum number of applications are concerned, a total of 71624 applications have been received against the 60 seats of B.Tech. - Computer Science and Engineering. In this way, 1193 applicants are willing to take admission on every seat in this programme.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor said that it is an indicator of the progress of the University in the last 13 years. Expressing happiness over this remarkable trend of the students, he said that it is definitely a matter of pride for the University and with this achievement our responsibility has also increased.
Prof. Rajiv Kumar said that in the next phase of the application process, the entrance exam will be conducted for which the dates will be announced soon. The application process for postgraduate courses in addition to the undergraduate courses available in the University is underway and this process is also being done through CUET, for which applications can be made till June 18. Prof. Phool Singh, Nodal Office, CUET-2022 CUH said that previous year the University has been taking admissions through the University Common University Entrance Test held at the level of various Universities.
This time most of central universities like University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University are going to take admission in this entrance exam for their undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
