Mahendergarh, 11 April 2023: The department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh successfully organized three days International Brain Awareness Week program which was funded by IBRO-Dana Foundation. Dr. Ashok Jangra, Organizing Secretary of the event gave special thanks to IBRO-Dana Foundation for giving 1250 USD Grant for this program. On 3 rd day Dean and Prof. Neelam Sangwan madam inaugurated the seminar and gave welcome address. She highlighted the importance of mental health. Dr. Ashok Kumar Dathusalia, Invited speaker from NIPER Raebrali give wonderful talk about the Involvement of Brain Neurons Sensation.

Thereafter, Dr. Devinder Arora, from Griffith University, Australia enlighten the participants about the beautiful topic (The Road to a Healthy Brain). The 3 rd Speaker, Environmental Pharmacologist Prof. Shyam Sundar Sharma from NIPER Mohali talked risk factors responsible for “Brain Stroke”. In the valedictory function, Participants from different schools received certificates for participation. Winners of different competition received prize from the hands of Prof. Neelam Sangwan and Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Head of Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Dr. Dinesh Kumar brief about the different activities organized during 3-days event in the university as well as in the nearby villages and expressed their special thanks to schools for allowing their student for participating in different events. At the end, Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Dinesh Kumar and special thanks was given to IBRO-Dana Foundation and Vice Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar for providing financial support to Dr. Ashok Jangra for organizing the Brain Awareness Week-2023.
