Two day National conference was organized by the Department of Management, CBLU

The session ended on the note of pleasant networking experiences and novel ideas that could be implemented to make Indian Management Education more relevant and indigenous.

 

Bhiwani, 18 April 2023: A two-day National conference was organized by the Department of Management, CBLU in collaboration with Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, New Delhi, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, and Jawaharlal Nehru University at the GBU Campus.

The event was a great success in terms of fulfilling its targeted objectives. The event started with great fervor witnessed at the inaugural session. The session was graced by Mananiya Atul bhai ji Kothari and the honorable Vice-chancellors of both universities, Prof. R.K Mittal, VC, CBLU, Bhiwani, and Prof. RK Sinha, VC, GBU, Greater Noida along with the conference conveners, Prof. Sunita Bharatwal, Prof. Dinesh Sharma and Co-Convener Prof. Rajeev Sijariya and Dr. Supriya Dalal. The inaugural session had the insightful presence of Prof.

TG Sitharaman in online mode and the Key Note speakers were Prof. Pawan Kumar, Director, IIM Tiruchirapalli, and Prof. Anadi Pandey, IIM Lucknow. the release of the Conference Souvenir and Proceedings was done at the inaugural in the benign presence of Mananiya Atul Kothari ji, Prof. RK Mittal, and Prof. RK Sinha, both the Keynote speakers and other Conference organisers. Following the schedule, the two-day event had 3 parallel technical sessions for Case Study Presentation and Research Paper Presentation. One best paper from each session was selected by the session chairpersons and felicitated during the valedictory session. One of the focal points of the event proved to be the Poster Presentation carrying such expression and innovation, displayed for both days at the main auditorium foyer, top three best posters were felicitated by the dignitaries, judged by Prof.

Leena Shimpi and Prof. M.Soundarpandian. The conference was no less than a congregation of seasoned academicians and achieved experts in the field of Management education. A session of Discussion with the directors was organised under the chairmanship of Mananiya bhai ji, where 90 directors, deans, chairpersons, and heads of various esteemed institutions were invited and over 50 were present physically. It proved to be a prolific session, as so many novel views were put forth on various dimensions of the New Education policy in the context of management education. Special attention was paid to the relevance of the Indigenous Knowledge system or the Indian Knowledge system during the two-day event.

The technical session for a panel discussion on the theme was organised on both days, having three panellists each. The sessions were kept interactive and after the deliberations, the house was invited to put up questions and discuss their views and experiences with the invited speakers. The esteemed panellists for the first day were Prof. Ajay Jain, MDI, Gurgaon, Prof. SK Dutta and Dr Arun Kumar Singh and the session was moderated by Prof. Ipshita Bansal. The first session of the second day was kept for the panel discussion with panellists, Prof. Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM Nagpur, Prof. DP Seneger, IIM Lucknow, and Dr Ashok Jambur, MDI Gurgaon.

The valedictory session was graced by the appealing presence of Prof. PC Pandey and Prof. Kanagsabhapathi in online mode. Prof. RK Mittal, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, CBLU, Bhiwani delivered the presidential address, the house also got to be the audience of Prof. RK Sinha, worthy Vice-chancellor, GBU in the valedictory event.
