HARYANA ; 132ndbirth anniversary of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar'scelebrated in CUH
An expert lecture was organized on the occasion of 132nd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R.Ambedkar at Central University of Haryana (CUH) Mahendragarh. While addressing this expert lecture organized by the efforts of SC/ST Cell of the University and Dr. Ambedkar Center of Excellence (DACE), the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's contribution is unforgettable. While describing the constitutional system present within any nation important for the development of that country, he said that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's role is well known. As an expert speaker on this occasion, Prof. SumeetMhaskar and Dr. JadumaniMahanand from O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonepat were present.
Starting the program by offering flowers to Dr. B R Ambedkar's statue situated within the University the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar in his address expressed gratitude to the organizers and experts. He said that Dr. Ambedkar played the role of a facilitator in uniting the country. He remained active in various subjects related to the society and the country and his contribution has remained useful for the public. The Vice Chancellor said that Dr. Ambedkar is the best example of multiple choice system. His life is a source of inspiration for all. The relevance of Dr. Ambedkar's thoughts can be seen not only at the national but also at the international level. In the lecture focused on ‘Global Relevance of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar', welcome speech was given by Prof. Antresh Kumar. After this the expert speaker Prof. SumeetMhaskar mentioned the efforts made by Dr. Ambedkar at the level of social equality. In his address, he also placed before the participants the importance of Dr. Ambedkar and the ideas presented by him, not only in India, but at the world level. In this sequence, other special speaker Dr. Jadumani, highlighted the various aspects related to Dr. B.R.Ambedkar and informed about their utility by mentioning the various concepts presented by him at the level of social reform, politics, constitutional change etc.Dr. Shahjahan, Mr. Rakesh Meena, Dr. MulakaMaruti, etc., members of SC/ST cell, played an important role in organizing the programme. On this occasion, the winners of painting and debate competition organized from 11th April were also honored by the Vice Chancellor. At the end of the program, Dr. T. Longkoi, member of the cell, presented the vote of thanks. Prof. Sunil Kumar, Registrar, Prof. Sunita Srivastava, Heads of departments, teachers, students and research scholars of various departments were present on this occasion.
