Central University of Haryana selected for Red Cross Awards

Mahendargarh : Special awards are given by the Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana for outstanding contribution in the field of social service. On behalf of Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana State Branch and St. John Ambulance (India) Haryana, the University's Youth Red Cross Shield for the year 2019-20 will be awarded to Central University of Haryana and Youth Red Cross Award for the year 2019-20 to Dr. Dinesh Chahal, Assistant Professor of the University. While expressing happiness over this achievement, the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that surely this honor is a source of inspiration for us. The Vice Chancellor said that this honor is also increasing our responsibility and surely, we will discharge our ongoing responsibilities in this direction with more energy and responsibility.
Dr. Dinesh Chahal, the program coordinator of the Youth Red Cross in the university, informed that a special function is being organized for this honor at Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh on 26th October. He said that this award is the result of various socially useful efforts made by the volunteers under the guidance of the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar. Dr. Chahal said that this effort will continue and receiving this honor has boosted our morale further, as a result of which the enthusiasm has developed to carry out the ongoing efforts in this direction.
