Moradabad University Closed Due to Upsurge In COVID 19

Moradabad: Teerthankar Mahaveer University closed till further updates due to upsurge in COVID 19 cases, all the upcoming examinations cancelled. Further updates will be notified soon via official notification on the website.
Due to the upsurge in the COVID 19 cases in the city, the University administration has decided to cancel the physical classes and all the upcoming examinations. Nevertheless the teachers will continue the online classes for the students as per the guidelines issued by the University.
Students are advised to leave their hostels and return back to their home. Citing the pandemic situation the campus visit to be restrained for students until it’s very important. In a meeting with the Vice Chancellor and concerned authorities, it was unanimously decided to close the University affiliated hostels as a precautionary step to curb COVID 19 situation. The University administration decided to close the campus till further updates, after the few staff members tested positive for the COVID 19.
The health of students and university staff is the top most priority for the administration, in accordance to which a new guideline was released by the University administration. Further updates will be notified on the official website of the University via circular.
