New Delhi.: The Council of Architecture has successfully conducted National Aptitude Test in
Architecture (NATA) for admission to First Year of 5-year B.Arch. Degree Course all over
India and also at Dubai, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait, in 196 centres, today i.e. Saturday, 10th
April, 2021. The second Test will be held on 12th June, 2021.
The Council deputed about 200 of its members/ experts as Centre and State coordinators/
Observers to oversee and monitor the conduct of examination smoothly and to ensure that
students do not face any problem during the examination. A total of 15066 candidates
applied for the First Test out of which 14130 candidates appeared for the First Test.
In case students could not appear for the first test due to any unforeseen circumstances in
view of pandemic of Covid-19 or want to improve their scores, they may apply for the
Second Test scheduled to be held on 12th June, 2021.
Passing an Aptitude Test in Architecture, conducted by the Council is mandatory for
admission to B.Arch. Course as per Council of Architecture (Minimum Standards of
Architectural Education) Regulations, 2020.
