Online Panel discussion held on Union Budget at CUH
NEW DELHI:The Union Budget 2021-22 is the budget that will play an important role in building 'Atamnirbhar Bharat'. The implementation of the New National Education Policy has received special attention in this budget by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, which will provide ample opportunities for the youth to make significant contribution towards making India self-reliant. This view was given by the Vice Chancellor of Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh Prof. R.C. Kuhad on Monday while addressing an online discussion on the general budget.
Organised by the Department of Management Studies of the University, the provisions of the General Budget in the field of Indian Economy and Education were discussed in detail at this online discussion. Prof. Ashwani Mahajan from Delhi University, PHDCCI Chief Economist Dr. S.P. Sharma, Dr. Vinod Kumar, Director of Bajaj Finance, and Dr. Anand Sharma, Dean, School of Business and Management Studies, CUH expressed their views as experts at the event. Experts highlighted the provisions made in the general budget to compensate for the loss of economy due to corona pandemic including education, health, transportation, agriculture, and said that this budget will surely pave the way for relief for every section. This online discussion was organised by Dr. Anand Sharma, while the co-convenors of the event were Dr. Ajay Kumar and Dr. Alekha S Nayak. Faculty Members, researchers and students from various departments participated in the program.
