AP TO CANCEL ALL THE COMMON ENTRANCE TESTS
Education Minister, Adimulapu Suresh, declared that the Andhra Pradesh state Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has been ordered to postpone all 8 CETs (common entrance tests).
According to the sources, The Andhra Pradesh government on Monday announced the postponement of all common entrance tests in the state.
As India is now suffering a lot from pandemic and the country now is in the 3rd position, “Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy took the call to postpone the exams in view of the rising number of covid-19 cases across the state and the country.
The EAMCET will be conducted in the third week of September and it will be ensured that the dates do not clash with the JEE examination schedule for September and it will be ensured that the dates do not clash with the JEE examination scheduled for September 27. A detailed schedule of the CET exams will be released soon.” the Minister said
He further informed that the expert committee has prepared a new syllabus for undergraduate courses. “The new syllabus would be introduced from the academic year. All the UG students will have to complete a 10 month internship as part of the course,” Suresh said, adding that finally exams for both undergraduate and postgraduate students would be held as per the UGC guidelines
