The WINGS, Women INspiring Growth in STEM Scholarship Program 2026 has been introduced to support and encourage female students pursuing careers in science and technology. The initiative aims to empower young women with the confidence and financial backing needed to excel in STEM fields.
Launched by distinguished IIT Bombay alumnus Bharat Desai and Neerja Sethi, the program focuses on supporting undergraduate women students at IIT Bombay. It is designed to promote greater participation of women in STEM education and help reduce financial barriers.
Who Can Apply?
Female students enrolled in undergraduate programs at IIT Bombay (from the 2026–27 academic year)
Must not be receiving any other tuition grant or scholarship
Required to maintain a minimum CPI of 6.0 or above
Scholarship Benefits
Selected students will receive full tuition fee support of up to ₹2,00,000 per year, helping significantly reduce the cost of education.
