New Delhi. : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for the University Grants Commission–National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the final answer key on the official UGC NET website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Exam Details
The UGC NET June 2024 exam was conducted between August 21 and September 4, 2024, at various centers across the country. Originally held in an offline, pen-and-paper format, the exam has since shifted to a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
Steps to Download UGC NET June 2024 Final Answer Key:
- Visit the official UGC NET website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the link for the UGC NET Answer Key 2024.
- Enter your application number and date of birth, then click Submit.
- The final answer key PDF will appear.
- Download and save the PDF for future reference.
Marking Scheme:
Each question in the UGC NET exam carries two marks. Candidates will receive two marks for each correct answer, with no negative marking for incorrect or unattempted questions.
About UGC NET:
The UGC NET is conducted twice a year, in June and December, to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professorship, and admissions to PhD programs. The June 2024 exam was held on June 18 across 317 cities in two shifts, with more than 9 lakh candidates appearing.
The exam gained attention due to initial reports of a paper leak, but after a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry, it was confirmed that there was no leak. The investigation led to a re-examination, which was later postponed before being held successfully.
