Two day National Seminar Bharat @ 75 started at CUH

:- On this occasion, social worker and Rashtriya sahsanghtan Mantri, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Shri Prafulla Akant was present as the chief guest

 

Haryana: In partnership with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and Student for Holistic Development of Humanity (SHoDH) Haryana, a two-day National Seminar on Bharat @ 75: Social, Economic, Political and Cultural Dimensions started on Friday at Central University of Haryana (CUH) Mahendergarh. On this occasion, social worker and Rashtriya sahsanghtan Mantri, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Shri Prafulla Akant were present as the chief guest while the program was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar. 

On this occasion, Shri Prafulla Akant said that the right goal of the research will be achieved only when it is society-useful. In his address, he reiterated his resolve to make Atmanirbhar Bharat a world power and said that this goal will definitely be achieved through the New National Education Policy.

Prof. Dinesh Gupta, Director of the seminar delivered the welcome address. National Co-convener of SHoDH in the program Dr. Pooja Rao highlighted the purpose of ICSSR and SHODH. In this sequence, Dr. Alok Singh, the national Convener of SHoDH, mentioned the objectives of the research, while talking in detail on the Indian knowledge tradition and the social interest associated with it. He said that research through various educational institutions is constantly striving to promote the social vision of India and research work for the betterment of the society. 

Prafulla Akant expressed his gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor of the University and said that unity in diversity is mentioned in India whereas in true sense this statement should be unity in diversity. Referring to India's richness, glorious history, social harmony, economic thinking, thinking towards women, in his address, he called upon the participants to move towards social-friendly and public-useful research. Referring to the completion of 75 years of independence. 

The Vice Chancellor of the University said that NEP 2020 will prove to be a milestone in the making of a new India. He said that today there is a need for a multiple disciplinary education systems and we have to move forward by adopting a positive attitude towards it. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has specially mentioned the role of youth for building Atmanirbhar Bharat, in such a situation, the younger generation will have to work in this direction while discharging their duties. 

As an expert speaker in the program, social worker Mrs. Mamta Yadav threw light on the role of women in building Atmanirbhar Bharat and told how women are making a significant contribution in building India since ancient times than men. 

At the end of the program, the Registrar of the University, Prof. Sunil Kumar proposed a vote of thanks. Prof. Sarika Sharma, Prof. Anand Sharma, Prof. Ranjan Aneja, Dr. Pradeep Singh, Dr. Renu Yadav, Dr. Ajai Pal Sharma, organizing secretary Rahul Goyat played an important role in this event. Heads, teacher-in-charges, officers, employees, students and researchers of various departments of the University were present on this occasion.
