TS ICET 2024 registration deadline re extended till May 7

The TS ICET 2024 application correction window will be open from May 17 to 20. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the application form by visiting the official website -- icet.tsche.ac.in.

TS ICET 2024: The Kakatiya University, Warangal has extended the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) 2024 registration deadline. Candidates can now apply for TS ICET 2024 until May 7 without a late fee. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the application form by visiting the official website — icet.tsche.ac.in.

The TS ICET 2024 registration deadline with a late fee of Rs 250 is May 17, while the last date for application form submission with a late fee of Rs 500 is May 27. Candidates from General, and Non-Creamy Layer Other Backward Classes (NCL-OBC) have to pay Rs 750 for the registration of the exam, while candidates from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Classes have to pay Rs 550 for the registration of the exams.

Candidates will be able to edit their application forms after submission. The application correction window will open from May 17 to 20. The admit card will be issued on May 28. As per the official schedule, the TS ICET 2024 will be held on June 5 and 6. On June 5, the TS ICET 2024 exam will be held in two sessions — morning will be from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and afternoon session will be from 2:30 pm to 5 pm (afternoon). On the other hand, the June 6 exam will be held in the afternoon session online.

TS ICET 2024: Eligibility criteria 

– Candidates applying for MBA programme are required to hold a bachelor’s degree of at least three years’ duration such as BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BBM, BCA, BE, BTech, BPharmacy, or any three or four-year degree except oriental languages.

– For MCA programme, applicants must have completed BCA, BSc, BCom, or BA with mathematics at either the Class 12 level or during their undergraduate studies.

 The degree earned through distance education or Open Distance Learning (ODL) programmes must be recognized by a joint committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC or DEB following UGC regulations.

– Candidates need to attain a minimum of 50 percent marks in their qualifying degree or equivalent examination for unreserved categories, with 45 percent required for SC, ST, and OBC candidates.

TS ICET 2024 exam pattern

The TS ICET 2024 exam will be held online in computer-based mode. The paper will carry a total of 200 multiple-choice questions divided into three sections- mathematical ability, analytical ability, and communication ability. The duration of the paper is 150 minutes. The medium of the exam is English, Telugu and Urdu. Candidates will get  (+1) one mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
