Pune: The Department of Geography is organizing a "Ten Days Research Methodology Course for M.Phil / PhD / PDF Scholars in Social Sciences" through Online Mode during Monday, 7th March 2022 to 17th March 2022. This Research Methodology Course is sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi and it will include various aspects of Research Methodology and Techniques used in Social Sciences.
Important dates:
Last date for Online Application: 20th February, 2022
Last date for the receipt of Hard Copy: 25th February, 2022
Short listed candidates will be communicated by e-mail: 28th February, 2022
Application Procedure:
Interested candidates can apply to the Course-Director online on or before 20th February, 2022. Registration form is enclosed with this notification. It can also be downloaded from the University website www.sndt.ac.in.

You have to upload the scanned copies of the required documents as listed below in.pdf form:
i) Filled Registration form (duly forwarded by the M.Phi.l/Ph.D./PDF Supervisor and
Head of the Department/Institution with the signature and seal)
ii) M.Phil./Ph.D./PDF registration/supportive documents.
iii) Self Attested copy of caste/community certificate of
ST/SC/OBC/Minority/Disability Certificate (if applicable)
iv)The PDF file of all essential documents must be given the following
nomenclature.name_document name.pdf (eg. For the ‘Ph.D. registration’ document of person ‘Gayatri Patil’ should named as Gayatri Patil_PhD.pdf )
The Candidates are required to send the filled registration form by speed post and must be duly forwarded by the M.Phil./Ph.D./PDF Supervisor and Head of the
Department/Institution with the above mentioned enclosures.
The online registration will be considered only after we receive the hard copies with the supporting documents. Incomplete application forms are liable to be rejected.
There is no registration fee for this Ten Days Research Methodology Course.
Attendance for all the sessions is mandatory or otherwise the certificate shall not be issued.
Eligibility Criteria:
All registered M.Phil./Ph.D./PDF Scholars in recognized Indian University/Research
Institute from any branch of Social Sciences are eligible to apply for this Research Methodology Course.
Intake:
The maximum intake for the Course shall be 30 seats. Those who have attended any such type of program sponsored by either UGC or ICSSR should not apply.
The selection committee will select the participants for the Course as per the ICSSR guidelines. Selected candidates will get the further instructions through the registered email.
